Famiglia Pasqua Moscato d'Asti is a delicately sweet, lightly sparkling (frizzante) white wine from the Asti subregion of Piedmont, in northwestern Italy. Crafted from the aromatic Moscato grape and carrying the prestigious DOCG designation, this 750 ML bottle delivers a straw-yellow wine with a fragrant, slightly floral character and gentle effervescence.
On the nose, the wine opens with notes of jasmine, honeysuckle, and ripe pear, while the palate shows a refreshing sweetness balanced by a hint of candied citrus and the wine's lively frizzante spritz. The subtle sparkle lifts the wine and prevents it from feeling heavy or cloying, making it exceptionally easy to enjoy.
Famiglia Pasqua, headquartered in Verona, is the #1 private wine producer in Northern Italy and the recipient of Wine Enthusiast Magazine's 2023 Innovator of the Year Award. Founded in the 1920s when the Pasqua brothers traveled from Apulia to Verona, the winery is now in its third generation, selling wines across 40 U.S. states. The family combines traditional winemaking with continuous innovation, maintaining estates and a research center in the Verona area.
Pair with fruit-forward desserts such as fruit tarts, strawberry shortcake, cheesecake topped with fruit, goat cheese and peach crostini, or fresh fruit salad. Best enjoyed young and served in a standard wine glass, well chilled. In Piedmont, it is a traditional Christmas morning tradition to toast with a glass of Moscato d'Asti.
