Dry Creek Vineyard Old Vine Zinfandel is a bold, full-bodied red wine from Sonoma County, California, crafted from vines averaging over 95 years of age, with some parcels exceeding a century old. Dry Creek Vineyard, established in 1972, is one of Dry Creek Valley's flagship wineries and was the region's first new winery after Prohibition.
This wine is typically a blend led by Zinfandel alongside Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet, and Carignane, aged approximately 14 months in a combination of French and Hungarian oak barrels. It offers brooding aromas of plums, raspberry coulis, dark chocolate, and warming spices, with a full-bodied palate featuring finely integrated tannins and balanced acidity. Flavors of licorice, blackberries, boysenberries, and tobacco leaves make it a rich, complex expression of old-vine Sonoma Zinfandel. Sold as a case of six 750ml bottles.
