The wine is a Merlot-dominant left bank Bordeaux, typically blending Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. It opens with aromas of ripe fruit and earthy notes, leading to flavors of red berries, raspberry, cherry, cola, and spice, finishing long and dry. Despite being accessible upon release, it has the structure and depth to reward several years of cellaring.
