Tortoise Creek Mission Grove Pinot Noir is a California red wine crafted by Tortoise Creek, part of the Masterwines group founded by Mel and Janie Master in 1990. This single-varietal Pinot Noir offers lovely aromas of violets and ripe cherries with a soft, delicate palate featuring impressions of raspberries and other red fruits. Medium-bodied with moderate tannins and fresh acidity, it also presents notes of black tea, clove, and cranberry.

The wine has an alcohol content of 13.6% and contains sulfites. The "Mission Grove" name references the native Californian olive cultivar originally planted by Franciscan monks at the San Diego Mission, which grows near the areas where the Pinot Noir grapes are sourced. Tortoise Creek wines are largely certified sustainable, and since 2009 the winery has partnered with the Chelonian Research Foundation, donating a portion of proceeds to turtle and tortoise conservation. This wine pairs well with beef, veal, poultry, and game.
