Michael David Winery Inkblot Petit Verdot is a bold red wine from the Lodi appellation in California's Central Valley. This is the first Petit Verdot varietal wine produced by Michael David Winery and one of the few ever made from Lodi. The grapes are selected for their high level of tannin, color, and concentration, and the wine is placed into new barrels early in the harvest season.

Deep midnight in color, the wine offers aromas of blackberry and dark cherry mingled with hints of fig preserves. Full-bodied and richly structured, it delivers flavors of voluptuous plum, dark cocoa, and toasted caramel, framed by a prolonged and complex finish. The 2022 vintage is 15.5% ABV with 18 months of aging in a blend of 49% French oak, 22% American oak (75% new), and 29% neutral oak.
