Domaine de la Côte de l'Ange is a distinguished family estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, one of the Southern Rhône Valley's most prestigious appellations. The Mestre family, among the oldest wine-growing families in the region, established the domaine in the 1960s with vineyards sourced from the slopes known as Côteau de l'Ange. The estate covers 15.5 hectares within the Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC and an additional 4 hectares in Côtes du Rhône.

This red wine is a classic Southern Rhône blend led by Grenache (approximately 65%), with Mourvèdre (25%) and Syrah (10%) lending structure and complexity. The wine displays aromas of peppery red and blue fruits, garrigue, and characteristic Southern Rhône terroir character. It is medium-bodied, balanced, and elegant, with a refined character well-suited to food pairing. The wine has received 91–93 point scores from critics and pairs excellently with roasted lamb, hearty stews, and Mediterranean cuisine.
