Lasorda Family Wines 1958 Collection Syrah Paso Robles 750ml

Lasorda Family Wines 1958 Collection Syrah is a tribute to April 18, 1958, the historic date when the Los Angeles Dodgers played their inaugural game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The wine is part of a three-part limited series created by the family of the late Baseball Hall of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda, celebrating the rich history of Los Angeles and one of baseball's most storied franchises, with labels featuring vintage photographs from that landmark day.

This Paso Robles Syrah opens with an elegant nose of dark rose, hibiscus, and charred cranberry. On the palate it is expansive and rich, with flavors of brisk boysenberry, chopped rosemary, and a pepper-spiked acidity that lingers on the finish. Paso Robles is renowned for producing bold, fruit-forward Syrahs with excellent structure, and this wine reflects the warmth and character of that Central Coast appellation.
