Mt. Brave Zinfandel is a 100% Zinfandel mountain wine produced from estate vineyards situated at 1,400 to 1,800 feet elevation on Mt. Veeder in Napa Valley โ above the fog line and benefiting from the region's longest growing season and lowest yields. The high-altitude terroir produces grapes of peak ripeness and full varietal complexity, resulting in wines that reflect the unique character of this rugged mountain appellation.
The wine opens with an interplay of dark raspberry, rhubarb pie, and floral aromas. On the palate, ripe red fruits rise in vibrant layers with herbal details bringing dimension and great weight. Fresh acidity carries the savory mid-palate through to a long, complex finish buttressed by fine Mt. Veeder tannins. Mt. Brave is part of the Jackson Family Wines portfolio and is produced in Oakville, California.
