Icardi Tabaren Barbera d'Asti DOCG is a red wine produced by the Icardi family estate in Castiglione Tinella, located on the border between the Asti and Alba wine regions of northwestern Italy's Piedmont. Made from 100% Barbera grapes grown in the Tabaren vineyard, this wine carries the prestigious Barbera d'Asti DOCG designation.

The wine presents a dark reddish garnet color with a full, forward nose of ripe red fruit aromas including blueberries, cherries, and mulberries, complemented by earthy, floral, and spice notes with hints of herbs and minerals. On the palate it is medium-bodied with a good concentration of balanced and smooth-textured ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, blueberries, and plums, finishing with a lingering aftertaste. It drinks well with decanting and extended airing but also has potential for further development with several additional years of aging. This wine pairs well with Italian cuisine and chicken dishes.
