George Remus Repeal Reserve Series VIII is a limited-edition straight bourbon whiskey from Indiana, released in a case format of six 750mL bottles. This annual commemorative release honors the repeal of Prohibition on December 5, 1933, and represents the oldest Remus Repeal Reserve to date.

Series VIII is a blend of three Indiana straight bourbons: a 17-year-old high-rye bourbon (21% rye mash bill) and two 10-year-old bourbons (one with 21% rye, one with 36% rye), bottled at 101 proof. The whiskey is non-chill filtered to preserve its natural viscosity and mouthfeel.

On the nose, expect saddle leather, cigar wrapper, soft wood spice, dark cocktail cherry, and pecan pie. The palate delivers cherry, maple syrup, candied pecans, fig, vanilla, oak, and baking spice. This is a strictly limited release that will not be produced again once Series VIII sells out. Limited to one per membership.
