Versos de Valtuille Mencía is a red wine produced by Estévez Bodegas y Viñedos from the Bierzo DO in Castilla y León, northwestern Spain. The wine is made from the Mencía grape, a native Iberian variety that thrives in the slate and clay soils of the Bierzo region at elevations around 600 meters above sea level.

The vineyards used for this wine are planted with old vines averaging approximately 80 years of age, which contribute to the wine's concentration and complexity. The grapes are sourced from the village of Valtuille, a small hamlet in the Bierzo appellation with a long winemaking tradition.

In the glass, the wine shows a deep cherry color with aromas of red berries, balsamic herbs, sweet spices, and scrubland. On the palate it delivers vibrant acidity, a spicy and balsamic character, and good mineral depth. Recent vintages have earned critical acclaim, with the 2018 receiving 92 points from Wine & Spirits. It pairs well with grilled meats, lamb, roasted vegetables, and aged cheeses. Sold in cases of 6 x 750ML bottles.
