Springbank 30 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ML

Springbank 30 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a rare expression from one of Scotland's most traditional and independent distilleries, located in Campbeltown on the Kintyre peninsula. Founded in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell's illicit still, Springbank remains one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every step of production — from floor malting to bottling — entirely on-site.

This 30-year-old expression is matured in a combination of 80% ex-Bourbon and 20% ex-Sherry casks, bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof), non-chill filtered to preserve the full depth of flavour. The distillery's signature 2.5 times distillation process — where some wash is distilled twice and some three times — contributes to its distinctively complex, well-rounded character. Barley is lightly peated using locally cut peat, and fermentation runs for approximately 70 hours, one of the longest in Scotland.

On the nose, tropical fruits dominate: pineapple, tangerine, and peach, with a vanilla note that develops over time. The palate is sweet and citrusy with notes of lemon and tangerine, sherbet sweets, turkish delight, and coconut, underpinned by a delicate peat smoke influence. The finish is long and smooth with notes of digestive biscuit and muscovado sugar.
