Koenig Vineyards Viognier is a white wine produced in Idaho's Snake River Valley, one of the Pacific Northwest's most acclaimed wine regions for aromatic white varieties. Founded in 1995 and located in Caldwell, Idaho, Koenig Vineyards is known for hand-crafting small-lot wines using traditional European winemaking methods.

This Viognier showcases the hallmark characteristics of the variety as expressed in Idaho's high-desert climate: aromas of white peach, apricot, and Meyer lemon, with a crisp and stony finish. The estate's Viognier vines were planted in 2002 and are cool-fermented in stainless steel, then aged on lees for approximately 10 months to develop texture and complexity. The Snake River Valley's elevation and temperature swings produce wines with bright natural acidity and well-defined aromatics.
