Il Paradiso di Manfredi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a traditionally crafted Italian red wine produced by one of Montalcino's most artisanal and sought-after small estates. Founded in 1958 by Manfredi Martini, a founding member of the Brunello di Montalcino Consortium, the estate spans just 2.5 hectares of vine near the prized Montosoli area and produces only 7,000–9,000 bottles of Brunello per year.
The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello clone) grown using organic and biodynamic practices without herbicides or fertilizers. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with native wild yeasts in cement tanks, then aged a minimum of 36–40 months in large Slavonian oak casks before additional bottle aging. The wine is unfiltered and unfined, with minimal sulfur added only at bottling.
In the glass, this Brunello shows earthy aromas of new leather, freshly tilled soil, truffle, and dark spice with red fruit notes. The palate delivers black cherry, strawberries, sweet tobacco, black olive, and licorice, supported by polished, velvety tannins and a savory backbone. A structured, age-worthy wine that rewards patience in the cellar.
