Rioja Bordon Reserva is a classic Spanish red wine from Bodegas Franco-Españolas, one of the oldest and most respected wineries in the Rioja DOCa region of northern Spain. Made primarily from Tempranillo, Spain's signature red grape, this Reserva-level wine undergoes extended aging in oak barrels followed by additional bottle aging before release, as required by Rioja's strict classification standards.

The wine presents deep ruby-red color with aromas of ripe red fruits, spice, vanilla, and subtle hints of tobacco and leather imparted by oak aging. On the palate it is smooth and round, with flavors of cherry, plum, and dried herbs balanced by well-integrated tannins and a lingering, elegant finish. Costco sells this in a case pack of 12 bottles, each 750 mL.

This is a versatile food wine that pairs well with roasted lamb, grilled meats, hard aged cheeses, and hearty Spanish tapas. Serve slightly below room temperature (around 60–65°F) to best appreciate its complexity.
