Convergence Zone Storm Front Red is a bold Bordeaux-style red blend from Washington State's Columbia Valley AVA, crafted by Convergence Zone Cellars. The winery sources fruit from some of Washington's most acclaimed vineyards, including Red Mountain, Wahluke Slope, Horse Heaven Hills, and Snipes Mountain. Storm Front was the winery's inaugural vintage and remains its flagship red blend, with the grape composition varying by vintage; typical bottlings feature Merlot as the dominant variety alongside Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The wine delivers complex aromas of jammy black fruit, cedar, pipe tobacco, menthol, allspice, and dried herbs. On the palate, expect bold flavors of blackberry, dark cherry, and blueberry with baking spice on the mid-palate, finishing with earthy notes of violet and dark chocolate. Tannins are medium and smooth, with a juicy and refined finish. The 2017 vintage earned a Double Gold Medal and 95 Points from the SavorNW competition. Alcohol content is approximately 14.1%. Contains sulfites. Best paired with beef, venison, game meats, mature hard cheeses, and mushroom dishes.
