Cascina Adelaide's Blue Label Barolo DOCG is a premium Nebbiolo-based red wine from Piedmont, Italy, crafted from a blend of four separate vineyard plots including the prestigious Cannubi and Preda crus. The estate dates to 1817 and was modernized with an underground cellar and updated barrel-aging systems, all while maintaining meticulous attention to traditional winemaking.

No herbicides are used in the vineyards, and all harvesting and sorting are done by hand. Native yeasts and minimal sulfur are used during fermentation, allowing the wines to express themselves naturally. The wine is aged in large barrels, developing complexity and structure typical of great Barolo.

The wine presents a ruby red color with brick reflections. On the nose, wild cherry and raspberry nectar fruit aromas combine with oak and spice nuances. The palate is wonderfully balanced with dark cherry and berry fruit flavors, oaky spice, and firm tannins that lead to a long, dry finish. Rated 93 points by James Suckling.
