Château de Ribebon Bordeaux Supérieur is a classic red wine from the Right Bank of Bordeaux, France, produced by the Aubert family, who have cultivated vineyards in the Saint-Émilion region since 1750. The estate sits on the clay-limestone soils of the Ribebon hamlet plateau, overlooking the Dordogne River, and spans over 600 acres of vineyard property, making it one of the largest family-owned producers on the Right Bank.
The wine is a traditional Bordeaux blend of approximately 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc. It presents a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe cherries, red plum, blackberry, and subtle spice. On the palate it is rich and well-balanced, with juicy fruit, elegant ripe tannins, and final notes of dark chocolate. Wine Enthusiast has awarded the estate 91 points for its richness, berry generosity, and persistent red-fruit finish. The wine typically scores 89–91 points across professional reviews.
It pairs well with roasted red meats, herb-crusted pork, hearty beef stews, roast lamb, and pasta with meat sauces. Bordeaux Supérieur designation indicates the wine meets stricter quality standards than standard Bordeaux AOC.
