Old Tub Sour Mash Bottled in Bond 100 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml

Old Tub is a Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, a nostalgic nod to where it all began for the Beam family over 140 years ago in Bardstown, KY — the Bourbon Capital of the World. Produced by Jim Beam, this unfiltered bourbon draws its name and recipe from the original Old Tub brand that served as the foundation for what would become Jim Beam bourbon.

As a Bottled in Bond spirit, Old Tub must meet strict legal requirements: aged a minimum of four years, bottled at exactly 100 proof (50% ABV), and produced at a single distillery in a single distillation season. The bourbon is non-chill filtered and non-carbon filtered, preserving the full character of the spirit. The mashbill consists of 75% corn, 13% rye, and 12% malted barley.

The appearance is a rich honey amber. The aroma opens with floral honey tones, oak, and clove accented by lemon and orange zest, followed by vanilla and grain. On the palate, warm bourbon notes are complemented by brown spices, honey sweetness, rye spice, and a pop of citrus, with a lingering finish of oak and dry vanilla.
