Banfi Belnero is a refined Toscana IGT red wine produced at Castello Banfi's estate in Montalcino, Southern Tuscany — an estate recognized 13 years running as Italy's Premier Vineyard Estate. This 3-liter format offers exceptional value for a premium Tuscan red.

The wine is a sophisticated blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, crafted through Banfi's pioneering clonal research. It is fermented in patented temperature-controlled French oak and aged approximately 14 additional months in custom-made 350-liter French oak barrels. The wine is bottled unfiltered and nitrogen-bottled to preserve its youthful character while minimizing sulfite use.

On the bouquet, Belnero opens with gentle aromas of vanilla, tobacco, and coffee, with hints of cherry jam and prunes. On the palate, it is harmonious with soft, well-balanced tannins, a persistent finish, and excellent potential for aging. Recent vintages have received scores of 90–93 points from major critics.
