Carol Shelton King Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon is a cool-climate red wine sourced from the King Ridge Vineyard on California's Sonoma Coast. Cabernet Sauvignon is an uncommon grape for the Sonoma Coast's foggy, coastal conditions, making this wine a distinctive expression of the region's unique terroir.
The wine is savory and woodsy with supple tannins, offering warm plum and dark cherry flavors characteristic of Sonoma Coast Cabernet. Winemaker Carol Shelton has been crafting single-vineyard wines since 1978, partnering closely with growers — many of whom farm organically — to capture the character of each site. The 2015 vintage earned 93 points from Wine Enthusiast and a Double Gold Medal at the 2021 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
Sold in a 12-bottle case of 750ml bottles.
