Château Mazeyres is an acclaimed red Bordeaux blend from the prestigious Pomerol appellation in France. This estate wine features a blend of 72% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Petit Verdot, aged for 14 months in French oak using a combination of 30% new barrels, 50% previously used barrels, and 20% ovoid concrete vats.

Ruby in color with purple glints, the wine opens with vanilla on the first nose followed by notes of hazelnuts, black cherry, and raspberry. Medium-bodied with a soft, silky mouthfeel, it delivers elegant tannins, spicy red pit fruits, hints of strawberries, and a peppery finish. The 13% ABV wine contains sulfites.

Château Mazeyres is located in the heart of Libourne and has been managed by Alain Moueix since 1992. The vineyard sits on three distinct soil types — fine clay, clayey sand, and gravelly-sandy clay — giving the wine its signature velvety character. The estate has been cultivated biodynamically since 2012 and holds Biodyvin certification from Ecocert since 2018. Pairs well with beef, lamb, poultry, and game.
