Guillaume Gonnet Le Rêveur Blanc Côtes du Rhône 750ML

Guillaume Gonnet Le Rêveur Blanc is a white wine from the Côtes du Rhône appellation in the Southern Rhône Valley of France. Crafted by vigneron Guillaume Gonnet, this wine is a blend of 40% Viognier, 30% Grenache Blanc, and 30% Roussanne, sourced from old vines averaging 40 to 45 years in age, planted at 4,000 vines per hectare on light clay and sandy terraced soils with a north-facing exposition.

The grapes are 100% destemmed and fermented with natural yeasts over 15 to 20 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation, preserving fresh acidity and aromatic vibrancy. Residual sugar is less than 2 grams per litre, and alcohol comes in at 13.5%.

On the nose, the wine offers grapefruit, citrus, and white floral notes with a highly expressive and complex character. The palate shows nice acidity and minerality, finishing with a lovely saline quality. It pairs well with seafood, chicken, rabbit, and fresh cheeses, and is an excellent aperitif served with dips. Cellaring potential is 2 to 5 years.
