Clar del Bosc is the flagship Priorat red wine from Gil Family Estates (Llicorella Vins), produced at the Mas Perxet estate near the Siurana River in El Molar, within Spain's prestigious Priorat DOCa. The wine is grown on dramatic terraced vineyards of blue slate and quartz soils — the celebrated llicorella — which impart the region's distinctive mineral character.

The blend is led by Garnacha (49%) and Cariñena (36%), complemented by Syrah (13%) and a small portion of Cabernet Sauvignon (2%). Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented separately in small open stainless steel tanks and 500-liter French oak barrels. The wine is then aged 12 months in French oak, developing complexity while preserving freshness. It has earned a 93/100 rating from Guía Peñin.

On the palate, Clar del Bosc offers concentrated flavors of blackberry and plum with hints of licorice, fennel, and chocolate — a deeply Mediterranean profile. The tannins are well-integrated, and the finish is long and elegant with lingering fruit and a subtle touch of oak. The name "Clar del Bosc" evokes a forest glade where light breaks through the trees, a reference to the spiritual and scenic character of the Priorat landscape.
