Cline Ancient Vines Red Blend is a Contra Costa County, California red wine crafted from some of the winery's oldest, predominantly own-rooted and dry-farmed vineyards. The blend combines five Rhône-inspired varietals: 34% Mourvèdre, 31% Petite Sirah, 15% Syrah, 12% Grenache, and 8% Alicante Bouschet, delivering what the producer describes as a distinctly old-world character with California fruit expression.

The wine opens with aromas of boysenberry, blackberry, plum, and chocolate. On the palate it is full-bodied with mouth-watering acidity and succulent tannins, leading to a lengthy finish. At 14.5% alcohol by volume, it pairs well with grilled meats, hearty pastas, and rich sauces.
