Schrader Cellars WH Wappo Hill Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a prestigious single-vineyard wine from the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, California. The "WH" designation refers to the historic Wappo Hill Vineyard, originally established in 1969, planted on hillside terrain with well-drained, gravelly clay-loam soils. Afternoon sun exposure balanced by cool mornings and evenings produces intensely flavored fruit with exceptional acidity. The wine is crafted from 100% Clone 685 Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in 100% new Darnajou and Taransaud French oak barrels under the direction of renowned winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown.

The wine offers aromas of blackberry, red cherry, and briary notes with pleasing threads of baking spice, floral petal, and dusty earth tones. On the palate it is full-bodied and concentrated yet vibrant and fresh, with notes of red and black currants, iron, white flowers, candle wax, and spice. The finish is polished and long-lasting, demonstrating classic Napa Valley Cabernet character. It is enjoyable upon release and capable of developing further complexity over 10 to 15 years of cellaring. Alcohol: 14.5% ABV.
