Lieu Dit Rosé of Cabernet Franc is a vibrant, food-friendly rosé from Santa Barbara County's Santa Ynez Valley, crafted by Lieu Dit Winery — a project founded in 2011 by Eric Railsback and Justin Willett. The wine is made from 100% Cabernet Franc sourced from estate-farmed vineyards including Happy Canyon Vineyard and Rock Hollow Vineyard, planted in sandy and clay loam soils.

The grapes are whole-cluster pressed and naturally fermented in stainless steel tanks, then briefly aged in neutral oak barrels through mid-winter before an early spring release. This minimal-intervention approach preserves the variety's signature freshness and aromatic complexity. The wine earned 90 points from Vinous, with notes of pineapple, white cherry, tobacco leaf, lavender, and ginger. On the palate it shows rose hips, wild strawberry, white pepper, Thai basil, blood orange, and raspberry — both salty and peppery in character.

Pairs beautifully with heirloom tomato and peach salad, shrimp tacos, and Mediterranean mezze. Each bottle is 750ML.
