Louis Latour Château Corton Grancey Grand Cru is a benchmark red Burgundy from Maison Louis Latour, one of the most respected négociant houses in the Côte de Beaune. This Grand Cru wine is a masterful expression of the Corton hillside, blending fruit from five prestigious Grand Cru lieux-dits: Perrières, Grèves, Bressandes, Clos du Roi, and Chaumes.
The wine is produced from 40-year-old Pinot Noir vines rooted in marl and limestone soils. Grapes are hand-picked and fermented in traditional open vats, then aged for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels with 35% new oak, medium toasted by the Louis Latour cooperage. The result is a wine of depth and elegance, offering ripe red fruit, savory spice, and earthy complexity with well-integrated tannins.
