The Donati Family Vineyard Claret is a Bordeaux-style red blend from Paso Robles, California, crafted by a family-owned winery with over 20 years of winemaking tradition. The wine is a sophisticated blend of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot, 3% Malbec, 3% Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc, all sourced from Paso Robles fruit.

Fermented 100% in stainless steel with twice-daily punch-downs, the wine is aged 20 months in a combination of new French oak (6%), new American oak (8%), new Eastern European oak (6%), and previously used barrels. The result is completely dry with just 0.08% residual sugar and 13.8% alcohol.

On the nose, the wine opens with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cherry cola, blueberry custard, cedar, baking spice, and vanilla. On the palate it is smooth and juicy with soft tannins, white pepper, cherry tart, cranberry, and fresh blackberry.
