Domaine Lafage Bastide Miraflors is a bold, full-bodied red wine from the IGP Côtes Catalanes appellation in Roussillon, southern France. This distinguished cuvée is a joint project between winemaker Jean-Marc Lafage and importer Eric Solomon, blending 70% Syrah sourced from gravelly soils near the Mediterranean with 30% old-vine Grenache from the schist and granite terroir of Saint-Paul de Fenouillet, where late-ripening vines yield concentrated, complex fruit.

The wine undergoes an extended maceration of six weeks to extract maximum color and flavor, then ages for 12 months split between concrete vats and 600-liter French oak demi-muids, lending structure and subtle oak character. On the nose, expect enticing notes of peppery spice, vanilla, and woodsmoke. The full-bodied palate is ripe, supple, and concentrated, delivering flavors of black cherries, dark berries, chocolate, and licorice on a long, satisfying finish.
