Quinta do Noval Vintage Port is one of Portugal's most celebrated fortified wines, produced at Quinta do Noval in the Douro Valley. Declared only in exceptional years when the harvest meets the estate's rigorous standards, this Vintage Port is defined by its purity of fruit and a fine, delicate quality — hallmarks of the Quinta do Noval style. Volumes are always extremely limited, often representing less than 15% of the estate's total Port production.

The wine is made using traditional vinification in granite lagares with foot treading, ensuring optimal extraction of aromas, color, and tannins during fermentation. The blend typically includes Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinto Cão, Sousão, and a field blend of indigenous varieties, matured for 18 months in wooden casks in the air-conditioned cellars of the Quinta before bottling.

On the nose, expect deep color with floral aromas, black cherry, and redcurrant, followed by subtle spice, fig, cocoa, and dried flowers. The palate is full-bodied with firm tannins, balanced acidity, and well-defined fruit. A solid mineral structure adds precision, with a long and persistent finish showing excellent aging potential. Alcohol content is 19.5% vol. with 92g/l residual sugar. Serve at cellar temperature (15–17°C) and drink within 48 hours after opening. Aging potential: 4 to 50 years after bottling.
