Ausab Premium Australian Greenlip Abalone is a sashimi-grade, shell-on farmed abalone sourced from the pristine coastal waters of Southern Australia. Each package contains 10 whole abalones with their shells, totaling approximately 2.2 pounds, sold frozen for convenient storage.
The abalone is individually hand-reared and monitored on Australian farms using non-GMO feed and no antibiotics, reflecting a commitment to sustainable aquaculture. Its firm, slightly chewy texture is comparable to calamari and is prized in Asian cuisine for its rich, ocean-fresh flavor.
