Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand 750ML

Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc is a classic dry aromatic white wine from Marlborough, New Zealand's premier wine-growing region in the Wairau Valley. Produced by Dog Point Vineyard, this wine offers lovely saline acidity with bright citrus fruit characters that burst on the palate, delivering refreshment from the first sip. Flavor notes include lemon, lime, mineral, and pear, with an elusive balance between racy acidity and expressive fruit.

Grapes are sourced from eight estate vineyards within the Wairau Valley, cropped at an average of 10 tonnes per hectare. The fruit is whole bunch pressed, cold settled before fermentation, and aged for 5 months in stainless steel tanks. A portion of the wine is fermented using indigenous yeast and bottled without fining, preserving the wine's natural character and complexity.

This Sauvignon Blanc pairs beautifully with simple fresh seafood and can also be enjoyed as a pre-dinner aperitif.
