Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a flagship red wine from the prestigious La Crau sector of the Southern Rhône Valley in France. Produced by the Brunier family, whose estate dates to 1898, this wine is named after an 18th-century signal tower on the property and represents one of the most celebrated expressions of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.

The wine is a classic Rhône blend led by approximately 60% Grenache, with Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault completing the blend. Grapes are hand-harvested from 60+ hectares of vines planted in the distinctive rocky La Crau plateau, where small stones, red clay, and sand create ideal growing conditions. Winemaking follows traditional methods: partial destemming, gravity-flow cellar work, fermentation in large oak tanks, and aging in concrete vats followed by 70-hectoliter oak foudres.

Tasting notes reveal layers of dark cherry, black raspberry, kirsch, garrigue, pepper, and spice, with a silky texture and long finish. The wine has an aging potential of 4 to 25 years depending on the vintage, with optimal drinking typically 4 to 6 years post-release. Highly rated across recent vintages, with the 2019 earning 96 points.
