Hendry Ranch's Blocks 7 & 22 Zinfandel is a benchmark Napa Valley red wine sourced from two distinct estate blocks on the benchlands west of the town of Napa, at elevations of 230 to 300 feet above sea level with thin, stony soils that encourage deep root growth and concentrated flavors.

Block 7 has been the foundation of Hendry's Zinfandel program since the inaugural 1992 vintage, with vines planted in 1975. Block 22, planted in 1995 to the same Clone 2 selection, adds complementary depth and complexity to the blend. Together, the two blocks produce a Zinfandel that balances power and elegance, offering aromas of ripe cherries, blackberry jam, mixed berries, and spice, with a medium-to-full body and a long, refined finish. The wine showcases Zinfandel's expressive site-driven character rather than a jammy, high-alcohol style.
