B.R. Cohn Sonoma Series Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County, California. This wine is sourced from vineyards throughout Sonoma County, including a portion from the winery's renowned Olive Hill Estate in Sonoma Valley. B.R. Cohn is a family-owned winery founded in 1984 in the heart of Sonoma Valley.
The 2021 vintage offers aromatics of mixed berry notes enriched by hints of spice, cigar box, and mocha. The palate features concentrated crème de cassis evolving into dark fruit complexities like blackberry and currant, with classic earthy tones of leather and dried herb emerging mid-palate. Oak spices of nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove grace the finish with enduring acidity. 14.5% ABV.
Fermented in glycol-jacketed stainless steel tanks with twice-daily pumpovers, then aged in French oak barrels through malolactic fermentation with three rackings for a clean, homogenous blend.
