Château La Gaffelière is a prestigious estate located in Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux, France, classified as a Premier Grand Cru Classé. The estate spans 22 hectares of classic Saint-Émilion limestone soils, producing wines of exceptional elegance and complexity.
This red blend is crafted from approximately 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc, aged for around 19 months in 50% new French oak barrels. The wine expresses notes of blood orange, pomegranate, dark berries, violet, spice, and crushed stone minerality, with full-bodied structure and ripe, polished tannins. It displays the classic Saint-Émilion character of sublime elegance and understated finesse.
