Found North Batch 010 8 Year Old Cask Strength Canadian Whisky 750ml

Found North Batch 010 is a small-batch cask strength Canadian whisky crafted by blending super-aged corn components with younger wheat and malted barley. The blend is composed of 66% corn (including two 23-year-old and one 19-year-old corn components), 29% 8-year-old wheat, and 5% 9-year-old malted barley aged in New American Oak. Bottled at 61.9% ABV (123.8 proof) with a total outrun of just 4,552 bottles, it is non-chill filtered, contains no additives, and is presented at natural color. Aged in New American and Ex-Bourbon barrels.

On the nose, Batch 010 offers vanilla wafer, toffee, and semi-sweet chocolate chips with hints of plum, shortbread, rock candy, and orange zest. The palate opens with cinnamon sugar layered over Irish buttered toast, evolving into brown sugar viscosity with wood-spiced tannin, toasted marshmallow, and malted chocolate cake. The finish lingers with spicy honey butter, perfumed mahogany, oiled cedar, and a final note of nutmeg and mint.
