Chateau Coudert is an AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru red wine from Bordeaux, France. Produced by Vignobles Carles, the estate sits on the highest hill of St-Christophe-des-Bardes with clay-limestone soils spanning 10 hectares. The blend is predominantly Merlot (90%) with Cabernet Franc (10%), aged 12 months in French oak barrels with 90% new oak.

This is a powerful, structured wine known for great concentration, volume, and roundness. Tasting notes across vintages highlight aromas of red fruits, almond, and menthol, with a full-bodied, well-structured palate. The 2022 vintage earned 97 points at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025. The estate was acquired by Jean-Claude Carles in 1961 and remains a family property with an eighteenth-century manor overlooking the valley.
