Naudin Corton Grand Cru is a prestigious red Burgundy wine from the Corton Grand Cru appellation in the Côte de Beaune, one of the most celebrated wine regions in France. Produced by Domaine Doudet-Naudin, a well-established Burgundy négociant and domaine with roots dating back to the 19th century, this wine carries the highest classification in French wine law — Grand Cru.
Corton is the only red Grand Cru appellation in the Côte de Beaune and is the largest Grand Cru vineyard in all of Burgundy, spanning approximately 160 hectares across the villages of Aloxe-Corton, Ladoix-Serrigny, and Pernand-Vergelesses. The wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the hillside of the Corton hill, where the combination of limestone and clay soils produces wines of exceptional depth and structure.
This wine typically displays aromas of dark cherry, earth, spice, and forest floor with a full-bodied palate, firm tannins, and excellent aging potential. Grand Cru Burgundy of this caliber benefits from cellaring and can develop beautifully over many years. Sold in a standard 750ml bottle.
