Telmo Rodriguez Yjar is a single-vineyard red wine from Rioja Alavesa, Spain, produced by Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez in partnership with Pablo Eguzkiza. The wine is sourced from 3.8 hectares of old gobelet-trained vines in the limestone foothills of the Sierra de Toloño, using a massal selection of indigenous varieties including Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha, Granegro, and Rojal.

Yjar is one of the most celebrated modern releases from Rioja, notable for being the first Spanish Rioja offered through the Place de Bordeaux — a distinction typically reserved for Bordeaux's finest estates. The wine is extremely limited in production, with only around 9,000 bottles filled per vintage. It ages for approximately 30 months in a combination of barrels of various sizes and large foudres before release.

The wine opens with aromas of sage, thyme, dried flowers, incense, and vivid raspberry and sour cherry. On the palate it delivers concentrated black fruit and mineral flavors with a soft texture, ample freshness, and a long, earthy finish. It has earned extraordinary critical acclaim, including a perfect 100-point score from Jane Anson and 97 points from Luis Gutierrez of Wine Advocate.
