Allegrini Valpolicella is a classic Italian red wine from the Veneto region, produced in the Valpolicella Classico DOC appellation. This 750ml bottle features a blend primarily of Corvina and Rondinella grapes, two traditional varietals of the Valpolicella area.
The wine presents a vibrant ruby color with enticing aromas of ripe cherries, wild berries, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it offers flavors of plum, cherry, strawberry, and smoke, complemented by light, fine tannins and fresh acidity. Delicate spice and herb notes weave throughout, making it an immediately enjoyable and food-friendly red wine.
Allegrini is one of the most respected producers in the Valpolicella region, with a long history of winemaking in Veneto. This wine pairs well with pasta dishes, grilled meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
