Secret de Famille Chardonnay Bourgogne 750 ML

Albert Bichot Secret de Famille Bourgogne Côte d'Or Chardonnay is a white Burgundy wine crafted from carefully selected plots around prestigious Côte de Beaune villages including Saint-Aubin, Meursault, and Puligny-Montrachet. The AOC Régionale designation reflects stricter production standards than standard Bourgogne wines, including lower yields and vineyard density matching village-level requirements.

The grapes are handpicked and undergo fermentation split between 50% in stainless steel tanks and 50% in oak barrels, with 20% new oak. The wine is aged on fine lees for 10 to 12 months. The resulting wine features a fine nose of citrus fruit and white flowers, opening to hints of honey and dried fruit, with a full-flavored, elegant palate balancing roundness and minerality.

Best served between 10 and 12°C (50–53°F), this Chardonnay pairs well with simply prepared fish and seafood, white meats, and poultry, whether grilled or in a light sauce. It can be enjoyed young on the fruit or cellared for 3 to 4 years.
