Château Nénin is a prestigious red wine estate located in the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux, France, owned by the Delon family since 1997. The 32-hectare vineyard is planted across 40 separate parcels with 78% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon, with an average vine age of 30 years and some vines exceeding 50 years old.
The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and aged for approximately 18 months in oak barrels (30% new oak or less). Michel Rolland serves as consulting winemaker. The style is structured and masculine for Pomerol, with a distinctive character that rewards cellaring.
Tasting notes feature aromas and flavors of flowers, chocolate, plums, and fresh red and black fruits, delivering both elegance and aging structure. The wine is considered a classic "vin de garde" — a wine built for laying down — combining power and complexity with balance and refinement.
