Château La Pointe is an elegant red wine from the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux, France. The estate is one of the largest properties in Pomerol at 23 hectares, producing over 12,000 cases annually under the ownership of Generali France with consulting winemaker Hubert de Bouard of the acclaimed Château Angélus.

The wine is crafted primarily from 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, yielding a medium-bodied style with fresh, bright fruit character. Expect aromas and flavors of ripe plum, black cherry, chocolate, and cocoa with a refined, elegant finish. Recent vintages have been notably praised, with the 2020 described as the finest expression of La Pointe to date.

This wine benefits from a minimum of 3 to 5 years of bottle aging and has cellaring potential through 2050 for top vintages. It pairs beautifully with roasted meats, duck confit, lamb, and aged cheeses.
