Château Troplong Mondot Rouge is a Premier Grand Cru Classé B wine from the Saint-Émilion appellation in Bordeaux, France, presented here in an impressive 3-liter (double magnum) format. The estate sits at over 100 meters elevation on the highest plateau in Saint-Émilion, with deep limestone deposits under layers of thick clay soil that lend the wine its distinctive character and exceptional aging potential.

The blend is predominantly Merlot (approximately 85%), complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Grapes are hand-harvested and vinified parcel by parcel in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, then aged in French oak barrels, with 75–80% new oak. The wine is known for its depth, complexity, and structure, with the large-format bottle offering even slower, more graceful maturation than standard 750ml bottles.

This wine typically benefits from a minimum of 8–10 years of bottle age and can develop beautifully over 10–35 years. Outstanding recent vintages include 2022, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2016, and 2015.
