Georges Duboeuf Château de Saint-Amour is a 100% Gamay red wine from the Saint-Amour appellation, the northernmost and smallest of the Beaujolais crus in eastern France. Crafted by renowned négociant Georges Duboeuf, this wine is a classic expression of the cru Beaujolais style.

The estate's south-facing vineyards span 49.4 acres, with most vines over 20 years old and trained in the traditional gobelet style. Harvest is conducted manually in whole bunches, followed by semi-carbonic maceration and malolactic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The wine sees no oak, preserving its fresh fruit character.

In the glass, it displays a vivid ruby to garnet color with complex aromas of ripe red fruit, particularly cherry. On the palate it is rich and full-bodied with silky, generous tannins and a very pleasing finish. Approximately 12.5% ABV. Pairs beautifully with grilled duck, lamb, moussaka, Indian dishes featuring lamb, and a variety of hard cheeses.
