Les Tours de Laroque Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is the second wine from Château Laroque, a distinguished estate anchored by its iconic 12th-century tower in the Saint-Émilion appellation of Bordeaux, France. This red blend is crafted from an average of 50-year-old vines selected through Massal Selection, expressing the finesse, purity, and authenticity of a great Bordeaux terroir.

The wine is a blend of approximately 93–96% Merlot and 4–7% Cabernet Franc, grown on plateau soils of brown and red clays over limestone, with east-facing terraces and west-facing slopes of chalky blue clays. Grapes are harvested manually and vinified plot by plot in small-capacity concrete and stainless steel vats. Gentle extraction combines punching down and pump-overs, with aging on fine lees partially in oak barriques and partially in vats with minimal sulfite additions.

The wine is particularly attractive when young, offering a bright, floral, and spicy character. It is elegant and velvety with fresh salinity, good acidity, and firm tannins. The 2019 vintage shows dark chocolate, blueberries, ripe blackberries, plums, dried lavender, toast, and mahogany on the nose, with a medium-to-full body. It earned 91 points from James Suckling and 90 points from Jeb Dunnuck. Ideal pairings include charcuterie, grilled red meats, and mushroom dishes. ABV: 14.5%.
