Château Noaillac is a classic red Bordeaux from the Médoc appellation in Bordeaux, France, sold in a 750ML bottle. The wine is a traditional Bordeaux blend of 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Petit Verdot, aged in oak barrels for one year before release.
The estate is located in the northern Médoc, beyond Saint-Estèphe near the Gironde estuary, and has been owned since 1982 by the Pagès family, who also own the nearby Château La Tour de By. Bottled at 13% ABV, this is a dry, structured, food-friendly claret with notes of blackcurrant, cherry, cedar, and tobacco, with firm tannins and a savory finish that opens up beautifully with food.
