Albert Bichot Savigny-lès-Beaune is a classic Burgundy red wine crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Savigny-lès-Beaune appellation, located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, France. Albert Bichot is one of Burgundy's most storied négociant-éleveurs, with over 150 years of winemaking heritage dating to 1831, known for producing wines that authentically express their terroir.
Savigny-lès-Beaune produces elegant, medium-bodied Pinot Noir wines with characteristic red fruit aromas of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, complemented by earthy notes, subtle spice, and a gentle touch of oak. The wines typically display a silky texture with refined tannins and a lively acidity that makes them approachable in their youth while offering good aging potential of 5 to 10 years.
This 750ml bottle pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, duck, lamb, mushroom-based dishes, and a wide range of soft cheeses. Serve slightly cool at 60–65°F to best appreciate the wine's aromatic complexity and elegant structure.
